Are you gearing up for Easter? Your preschooler will love this numbers and colors matching activity with an Easter Bunny theme!
Set It Up
For this activity you will need:
Optional: print on cardstock and laminate to make them durable and reusable – especially recommended if you’re prepping this for many little hands in a classroom setting!
Below are the supplies I use personally at home. After doing so many printable activities, I’ve found that it’s most helpful to always have these basic supplies on hand.

Start It Up
This month, little kids tend to get excited about the Easter Bunny and all the goodies
You’ll find two games you can play when you download the PDF below. The first is matching the color of the bunny to the color of the egg. The second is matching the number of carrots to the number the bunny is holding in the frame.
Print whichever set of cards you wish to use, cut the puzzle pieces apart and you’re ready to play!
This can be a great differentiated activity if you have kids of multiple ages in your class or home as they can do the one that matches their ability.
Toddlers will enjoy matching up the colors while preschoolers and kindergarteners can use the counting set.
Level It Up
Have an older child or just want to make it a lot more challenging? Simply turn
one half of the puzzles pieces over. Now they have to use their memory to match them!
Pair It Up
Here are some great books you can choose from:
The Story of the Easter Bunny by Katherine Tegen – an imaginative story about how the legend came to life and who the Easter Bunny is
Ollie’s Easter Eggs by Oliver Dundrea – Great Pre-K book for reinforcing colors
Ten Easter Eggs by
Bodach – A book that kids can count along to and is a great follow-on to the activity Vidaya
