This emoji shadow matching game develops an important early literacy and math skill called visual discrimination. Preschoolers need visual discrimination and matching skills so that they can differentiate between the letters and numbers as well as classify objects. It makes a great file folder activity for early finishers in class.

Other Printables for Visual Discrimination:
Emotions Clipcards – Kids will find the matching facial expressions while working on their fine motor skills as well.

Playing This Fun Visual Discrimination Game
Print out the sheets and cut the colored emojis into individual pieces.
This would be a great file folder game so I suggest pasting the second sheet with the shadow emojis into a file folder. You could laminate this and also the colored emoji pieces and stick velcro dots on them.
Ask your child to match up the faces to their respective shadows.
