Start it up

There are 2 versions included – a colored one and a black & white low-ink version. Print whichever you prefer

Cut up the raindrop pieces and ask your child to stick only the number stated on the left side of each ten or twenty frame.

Level up

If you've got an older child, add a zero at the end of each number stated and make each raindrop equivalent to 10. Then, have them skip count in 10s instead – 10, 20, 30, 40 etc.

  1. Little Kids First Big Book on Weather – This series of reference books for kids by National Geographic is plain amazing! Full or gorgeous pictures and written with large fonts, it's bound to keep your child engaged and you learning something new as well!

  2. Here's an easy craft activity: try making a simple rainstick together. Poke some holes into a paper towel or toilet paper tube. Cover one end with tape. Pour some uncooked rice inside, about a quarter of the volume of the tube, and then place toothpicks into the holes. Cover the top end with tape as well. When you turn the tube over, the rice comes pouring down the tube and sounds like rain!

Enjoy!
