These spring counting clip cards are perfect for preschool number recognition, one-to-one correspondence and counting skills. There are 4 different designs: counting dots on the butterfly wings, fireflies in a jar, petals on a flower and bees in a hive.

Set It Up
For this activity you will need:
Paper
Printer
Clips like clothes pins or paperclips
Optional: laminator
If you don’t have clips, you can still use this activity and circle the number instead
Below are the supplies I use personally at home. After doing so many printable activities, I’ve found that it’s most helpful to always have these basic supplies on hand.

Start It Up
Print out the sheets and cut them into individual cards. I would recommend to laminate these so that they are more durable and the game can be reused.
Ask your child to count either the dots, fireflies, petals or bees and then use the clip to mark the correct number.
This simple activity is great for developing early math skills and also fine motor skills.

Pair It Up
I recently posted my Raindrops Counting Frames printable – another spring-related maths activity that would be a nice follow-on to this one.
Enjoy!
